Bow & Arrow Herbicide for broadleaf weed control in turf is a formulation containing the active ingredients, MCPA as potassium salt, clopyralid as potassium salt and diflufenican. It is used at an application rate of 5 litres per hectare.

Current broadleaf turf herbicides have a tendency to cause rapid desiccation of weed leaves and shoots. Recovery may then occur from the significant root systems and/or other underground components of the weed. The effect of Bow & Arrow Herbicide is slower than other broadleaf herbicides but the ultimate result is more effective, with no evidence of regrowth.

This unique three-way mixture provides extended weed control (season-long) in most situations.

Active Constituents:
20 g/L CLOPYRALID present as the potassium salt
15 g/L DIFLUFENICAN
300 g/L MCPA present as the potassium salt

Apply 5 L in 200 – 500 L water/ha (50 mL in 2 – 5 L water per 100m) .
➢ For best results turf and weeds should be actively growing at the time of treatment.
➢ Surfactants (if used) should be added after Bow & Arrow Herbicide and water are mixed when the spray-tank is almost full.
➢ Avoid mowing during the 3 to 4 days before and after treatment.
➢ Avoid exceeding application rates through overlapping sprayed areas.
➢ Complete weed death may take up to 6 weeks. Faster results can be expected on smaller weeds.
➢ Shake container well before use.
➢ Transient discolouration may occur on Kikuyu, Carpet grass and Queensland Blue Couch.
➢ Varietal differences on certain species of buffalo grasses (eg. ST85) may lead to transient discolouration effects, it is recommended to try a
small area first before large scale application occurs.
How to get the most out of your application
Mixing and Compatibility
MIXING
Shake original container before use. Agitate continuously to ensure thorough mixing before and during application. Only mix sufficient chemical
for each day’s work.
COMPATIBILITY
To avoid hydrolysis, Bow & Arrow Herbicide needs the spray tank water to be within a pH range of 5 to 8. No information is available that
indicates physical compatibility with other products. Tank-mixing other products with Bow & Arrow Herbicide cannot therefore be
recommended. As formulations of other manufacturers’ products are beyond the control of Turf Culture Pty Ltd, all mixtures should be tested
prior to mixing commercial quantities, compatibility testing should consist of assessing both; uniformed mixtures (i.e. no separation) and no rapid
sediment build up (i.e. no flocculation).
